This year has been filled with nothing short of twists and turns. While many of us have been fortunate to stay home and remain safe, our first responders have continued to sacrifice their health and lives on behalf of the communities they serve.
On average, there are 1.8 million events and meetings that happen across the United States per year. Except in the year 2020. This has called for tremendous flexibility, thinking outside the box and in many cases, canceled events.
Fortunately, the New York State Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Association (NYSVARA) was determined to make the impossible – possible. Pulse Check became a virtual conference!
Transitioning their conference to the digital world allowed the opportunity for many to still receive the benefits of the Basic and Advanced Life Support curriculum. The event was an incredible success and provided lifelong skills to everyone in attendance.
Not only was the event a success, but it was provided to the volunteer ambulance & rescue community at no cost, thanks to NYSVARA and their incredible event sponsors.
ProClaim was a Platinum sponsor that melds impeccably with the cause. ProClaim is an EMS Solutions and Billing company that offers comprehensive reporting solutions and decreases the burden on field providers. Their role within the community has made profound impacts for each of their clients and they continue to revolutionize the way billing and technology in the EMS industry functions.
“We’ve been going to the conference since our founding in 2001. When the opportunity came to be a sponsor of Pulse Check 2020, it was a no brainer. And it just so happens to be at the same time we redeveloped our brand with the help of brandbliss. Everyone at NYSVARA and their incredible support staff really pulled off an amazing event and we’re excited to have played a part in it. ” said Frank Orlando, director of business development for ProClaim.
Grey Goose Graphics also sponsored and provided their incredible work by creating all event marketing material and audiovisual on behalf of the conference. Their full-service team was able to create incredible work for an incredible cause. Spreading the word only allows for more to be included in an opportunity to learn such as this one.
This year’s event was nothing short of necessary in the turbulent time we are currently facing. When everything is changing and new information continues to surface, we may rest in knowing education for our EMS workers and volunteers never cease. Events like these are nothing without the incredible people that come to them. Thank you to the New York State Volunteer Ambulance & Rescue Association and Pulse Check for another incredible year and growing incredible people.
