ProClaim was founded in 2001 by Joanne Orlando and Cindy Orfino. With exclusive experience in ambulance billing and collections, both Joanne and Cindy have extensive operational and management experience in the EMS industry.
Joanne developed, coordinated and maintained the Medical Transportation Department at Westchester Medical Center for both inpatient and outpatient services. During her tenure, she developed this facility’s Medical Transportation that included the policies, procedures and mandated requirements for all Federal, State and County agencies. Subsequently, she worked as Assistant Director of Reimbursement for one of the largest private ambulance companies in the NY metropolitan area.
As an expert in ambulance billing and collections, Cindy’s entire career has been focused on the ambulance industry. She has many times functioned as the key point person in the integration of the accounts receivable of acquired companies into larger ones. She was consistently sought after by ambulance companies to correct previous billing errors, ‘clean up’ the receivables and guide them to a path of financial success.
From 1998 until the opening of ProClaim, Cindy and Joanne served as Co-Directors of Reimbursement for a large, private ambulance company that serviced the 5 boroughs as well as the 911 EMS service of NYC.
In 2016, Frank Orlando joined the ProClaim team as Director of Business Development. His expertise in consultative sales, client service, and negotiation has allowed ProClaim to further strengthen its personal connection to existing clients, forge strong relationships with new clients, and form the strategic partnerships that allow us to offer services and solutions beyond billing.
The entire ProClaim Team is comprised of Certified Ambulance Coders. We work together to provide a hassle-free process that supports the sustainability of community EMS agencies with best practice billing and administrative solutions. We work harder to take care of you so you can take care of your community.
